Our Staff: Primary Classrooms (3 yr. old -6 yr. old)

Miss Itsuko

 Miss Itsuko is one of our Primary Lead Teachers. She earned her bachelor's degree in Philosophy at the  University of Nebraska at Omaha. Soon after, she   discovered her 

passion for the Montessori teaching philosophy! She then earned her teaching certification from the American Montessori Society, and has worked as a Montessori Lead Teacher for the last eleven years.  She is also an incredibly talented artist, and worked with the children to create the artwork that adorns the walls throughout the school!!  Miss Itsuko loves helping children learn through the expression of their unique creativity.  

Miss Eva

Miss Eva is also one of our Primary Lead Teachers.  She is certified from the American Montessori Society, and has taught the Montessori Method

for the last ten years at the Preschool and Kindergarten level.  Miss Eva says that the Montessori method won her heart especially through its peace studies.  From that point on, she said, "I knew this was it!"She loves the spontaneity and the individual attention that the Montessori classroom allows.  Miss Eva loves the outdoors and gardening (she remembers sleeping outside as a teenager!).  She is looking forward to helping the children plant our school garden this spring!  

Mr Dan

Mr. Dan is one of our Full Time Assistant Teachers. This is his first time working with children in a preschool but he is not new to Montessori. He attended Montessori school from kindergarten to eighth grade! Mr. Dan's favorite part of the day 

is when he gets to interact and play with the children. In Mr. Dan's spare time he enjoys spending time with his kitty, playing frisbee golf and spending time with his very tight knit friend group. Mr. Dan officiated the wedding for two of his best friends!

Miss Becca

Miss Becca is one of Bluebird Montessori's full time Assistant Primary Teachers.  She has assisted in a preschool classroom for over three years. She has also had four years of child development courses, as well as a Montessori certification from NAMC.

Miss Becca takes great joy in seeing the "spark" in a child's eyewhen they master a lesson or grasp a new concept. In her free time Miss Becca loves to do puzzles, movie trivia and playing bingo. 

Our Staff: Toddler Classroom (18 months old - 36 months old)

Miss Jessie

Miss Jessie is our full time Lead Teacher in the toddler classroom.  Not only has Miss Jessie earned her certification from the American Montessori Society, she also attended Montessori schools from preschool 

through eighth grade.  Having been exposed to both Montessori and non-Montessori schooling,Jessie is passionate about the philosophy, and creating an environment to facilitate the independence of the child.  Miss Jessie has previous experience working with children as a nanny, and also as an assistant teacher in a Montessori classroom. In her free time, Jessie loves to work out, craft, and spend time with her family and her two cats!

Miss Stacy

Miss Stacy is one of Bluebird Montessori's full time Assistant Toddler Teachers.  She has worked in a Montessori classroom for over ten years. She  earned her AMS (American Montessori Society) Montessori

teaching credentials in 2009. Miss Stacy takes great joy in seeing a child master a lesson and the look of pride on their faces. In her free time Miss Stacy loves to read, spend time with her family and doing pretty much anything outside.

Miss Katie

Miss Katie is our Office Manager and part time helper. She comes to us from the corporate world and couldn't be happier to be out of it! She has twelve years of accounting experience. Miss Katie has become an avid supporter of the

Montessori method after having her daughter attend our school and seeing how much she has grown. She has three children that keep her very busy. In her spare time Miss Katie loves kickboxing and running.

Mr Tom

Mr. Tom is our Owner/Administrative Director. He has been coaching or teaching children since middle school. Mr. Tom was first introduced to Montessori when his oldest started attending a Montessori school as an infant.All

three of his girls have attended Montessori schools. He is such an avid believer in the Montessori method he decided to open a school! In his spare time Mr. Tom enjoys working out, watching movies and spending time with family.
